The Universitas 21 Health Sciences Group is a unique global university network of Health Sciences staff and students that includes members from 20 universities worldwide, and a collaborative group of Universitas 21.
We provide Health Sciences Faculty of member universities a framework for exploring opportunities for:
▶ collaborative research
▶ information exchange
▶ and sharing of resources.
Our group includes the discipline areas of: Dentistry, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmacy, Public Health and Biomedical Sciences.
As a collaborative network, we work together on numerous interdisciplinary projects and activities for both staff and students of relevance to the Health Sciences with a focus on global health issues.

2025 Annual Meeting: Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University!
The 2025 Annual Meeting will be held from 25 - 29 August in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Thank you to the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University. The theme will be: “Aging Across the Lifespan”
2026 Global Learning Partnership: Apply now!
Applications are open until 7 November 2025! The dates of the program: 12 April - 5 May 2026, in Nepal. This is open to health sciences students at U21 HSG member institutions.
Cost: USD1,800 (three scholarships available)
The 2025 IPE International Student Challenge concluded in July!

2025 Student Speaker Funding - closed
Applications are closed. If you are a student at a U21 HSG Member Institution leading a project or research relevant to the theme of “Aging Across the Lifespan” submit your application, for an opportunity to present your work during the 2025 Annual Meeting. hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. 2024 Annual Meeting at Amsterdam University Medical Centre was held!
Thank you to the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Amsterdam for hosting a successful 2024 Annual Meeting. It was great to see members from our partner institutions and hope it was fruitful to all.

2025 Summer School was successfully held!
Thanks to colleagues at the Faculty of Medicine at UC Chile who organised a fantastic 2-week summer school on the theme, “Advancing Mental Health and Wellbeing in Aging Populations”
U21 UNSDG Student Workshop at University College Dublin - HELD!
The U21 UNSDG Student Workshop was held from 12 - 13 June at the UUniversity College Dublin College of Health and Agricultural Science in Dublin, Ireland from 12 - 13 June 2025 on the topic of “One Health for Global Health”
