From Public Health to Professionalism: The Challenge of Integration in Health Science Education

The 2015 Universitas 21 Health Sciences Group annual meeting was hosted by Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and took place on 21-25 September 2015 in Santiago. This meeting focused on the following two main topics:

  • Teaching Professionalism to Health Sciences Students
  • The Challenge of Integrating Public Health in Health Science Teaching and Clinical Practice

The meeting also included a Doctoral Student Forum, a Social Media Project workshop and a UN MDG workshop. Following the model of the past two annual meetings, one afternoon was dedicated to discipline-specific discussions and, on a second afternoon, interdisciplinary workshops were offered to participants.
