The 2024 SDG Student Workshop organised by the U21 HSG Sustainable Development Goals Initiative Group and the University of Nottingham EcoHealthcare Society was successfully held at the University of Nottingham from 14 - 15 June 2024.
We're so excited that students have the opportunity to come together in person (and online for some of the sessions) to expand networks, learn about Data Driven Health Care and Sustainability and collaborate on group projects.

The newly UoN EcoHealth Society (student society) is putting together a programme across two days (14-15th June 2024) for an international workshop around the theme of Sustainability and Data Driven Healthcare. The first presentations will be in the afternoon of the 14th June and some group discussions organised on the 15th June late morning and early afternoon. combination of keynote presentations, break-out room discussions and team working sessions on the SDG case studies.

Student Eligibility:
All students registered in Health Sciences courses (for example: Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nursing and Midwifery, Public Health and more), and staff at U21 HSG affiliated institutions in the UK, and abroad, in person or online.
The objectives are:
To facilitate a forum for students, health professionals and teaching staff to engage in discussions and group-based case-studies around the themes outlined in the U21 HSG SDG Initiative Group manifesto. Previous SDG student workshops have taken place in Dublin (2019) and virtually (2022). The University of Nottingham hosted a workshop in 2016.
To raise awareness around the challenges of sustainability in health care in the world and how data will increasingly impact international, national and local policies and strategies.
