From Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Amsterdam Central Station
Upon arrival at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, you can travel by train to Amsterdam Central Station (20 minutes, see further instructions below) or by taxi.

By Metro: Disembark at metro terminal "Holendrecht":

  • metro # 54 when taking the metro from Amsterdam Central Station (via terminals Amstel and Bijlmer Arena) bound for Gein;

  • metro #50 when taking the metro from Isolatorweg (via terminals Sloterdijk, Zuid, RAI and Bijlmer Arena) bound for Gein.

By Train: Disembark at NS train station Holendrecht. From the train station it is a 5-minute walk to the main entrance of the Amsterdam UMC, location AMC

Parking: The parking areas around Amsterdam UMC, location AMC are numbered. Parking areas P1 and P2 are paid parking areas. Parking on P3 to P6 is free of charge. On P1 and P2 parking is charged at a basic rate of €3 for the first three hours. The parking rate after that is €0.50 per half hour. Please take your parking ticket with you as you leave your car. Ticket machines are situated at the various exits.

 By Taxi: From Amsterdam Schiphol airport to Amsterdam UMC, location AMC. Duration around 25 minutes (if not during rush hours) and costs probably € 65.

It is the attendee’s responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for the Netherlands and apply for a visa, if necessary.

You may need a short-stay Schengen visa if you want to visit the Netherlands for a maximum of 90 days. This depends on your nationality. Visas must be applied for from the relevant Dutch embassy, consulate or representing consular Schengen office in the delegate’s country of residence.

If you require a visa, you need to obtain and submit an official letter of invitation from the conference organizers to help facilitate the visa process. Please note that letters of invitation are only issued to registered attendees.

  • Provide these details, with a corresponding number:

    1. Full Name

    2. Name of Organization, and Credentials (Job Title)

Your invitation letter will be sent via e-mail. We are not able to provide letters via postal mail.
