The University of Auckland, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences hosted the 2022 U21 Health Sciences Group Doctoral Student Forum, in conjunction with the U21 HSG Annual Meeting.
The forum took place on Monday 5th September 2022 with the theme of My PhD and me with the aim to encourage discussion amongst students, to share experiences and to consider the diversity of career opportunities available following completion.
The full day programme includes sessions on:
· The international doctoral experience
· Masterclass: Where to from here? How to build your research network
· Short oral student presentations
· Moderated poster session
· Networking/ social opportunities & prize presentation
Students had the opportunity to present their research and obtain feedback from an international review panel, attend masterclasses facilitated by experts in this area, and network with students and academics from 18 global leading universities. Students were also invited to attend the events of the U21 Health Sciences Group Annual Meeting during the week.
