University College Dublin, College of Health and Agricultural Sciences hosted the 2020 U21 Health Sciences Group Virtual Doctoral Student Forum, in conjunction with the U21 HSG Annual Meeting on Tuesday 25th August 2020. The aims of the Doctoral Student Forum are to encourage discussion amongst students, to share experiences and to consider the diversity of career opportunities available following completion. 

Doctoral students from a range of disciplines across the U21 HSG member institutions presented their work virtually to the 19 U21 HSG member institutions across the globe.  Topics from all areas of Health Sciences research was submitted and we particularly welcomed submissions from One Health related research.

The virtual Doctoral Student Forum programme included Masterclasses from expert researchers, student presentations and poster presentations. The international review panel award prizes to the best presentations. Students were invited to attend all the virtual plenaries of the U21 Health Sciences Group Annual Meeting during the week. The topic of this years meeting was ‘One Health: A collaborative approach to Healthcare’.
