Dr Emma Beckman is an early-career academic in a Teaching and Research position at the University of Queensland and an accredited Exercise Physiologist. Dr Beckman has a keen interest in Inter-professional education and has mentored the University of Queensland team in the Australian Health Fusion team challenge for the past 3 years with success as national champions in 2014 and 2015. Dr Beckman is passionate about educating the next generation of Exercise Physiologists, as well as developing programs of research to engage people with disabilities in grassroots to elite level sport.

Donna Drynan is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (OS&OT) at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She obtained an Occupational Therapy degree in 1985 from the University of Toronto, and a Master’s degree in Education in 1992; she began her Tenure Track Instructor position in OS&OT and UBC in 2010. As a Senior Instructor of the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program, Donna teaches three of the core courses in the two-year program. Her expertise is in integrating professional practice standards with fieldwork education, ensuring that all students have the assessment and intervention skills required to engage in practice.
