The Universitas 21 Health Sciences Group is a unique global university network of Health Sciences staff and students that includes members from 18 universities worldwide, and a collaborative group of Universitas 21.
We provide Health Sciences Faculty of member universities a framework for exploring opportunities for:
▶ collaborative research
▶ information exchange
▶ and sharing of resources.
Our group includes the discipline areas of Dentistry, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmacy and Public Health.
As a collaborative network, we work together on numerous interdisciplinary projects and activities for both staff and students of relevance to the Health Sciences with a focus on global health issues.
The University of Birmingham will be hosting the U21 Health Sciences Summer School 2019 on the topic of ‘Antimicrobial Resistance and Stewardship’ taking place on 22nd July to 2nd August 2019.
The Summer School is an annual two-week interdisciplinary course for undergraduate U21 Health Sciences students that offers the unique opportunity of face-to-face learning and field trips located at a U21 HSG member university.
