The Universitas 21 Health Sciences Group is a unique global university network of Health Sciences staff and students that includes members from 18 universities worldwide, and a collaborative group of Universitas 21.

We provide Health Sciences Faculty of member universities a framework for exploring opportunities for:

▶ collaborative research

▶ information exchange

▶ and sharing of resources.

Our group includes the discipline areas of Dentistry, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmacy and Public Health.

As a collaborative network, we work together on numerous interdisciplinary projects and activities for both staff and students of relevance to the Health Sciences with a focus on global health issues.

Applications are now open for U21 HSG project funding opportunities to encourage collaborative, international projects across our network.

This year we are pleased to launch three different funding options which include:

▶ Research Development Fund

U21 Health Sciences Group Teaching Excellence Award 2019

We are pleased to announce that the U21 Health Sciences Group Teaching Excellence Award 2019 is now open for applications.

The Award, aimed at junior to mid-career academics across the U21 HSG, is a way of celebrating and rewarding exceptional scholarship, particularly amongst research intensive universities.

Doctoral Student Forum 2019 - Call for Abstracts

The University of Glasgow is delighted to host the 2019 U21 Health Sciences Group Doctoral Student Forum, in conjunction with the U21 HSG Annual Meeting.

The forum will take place on Monday 9th September 2019 with themes of the international experience and transferability of doctoral training. Students from across the network are invited to present a summary of their research.
