The Universitas 21 Health Sciences Group is a unique global university network of Health Sciences staff and students that includes members from 18 universities worldwide, and a collaborative group of Universitas 21.
We provide Health Sciences Faculty of member universities a framework for exploring opportunities for:
▶ collaborative research
▶ information exchange
▶ and sharing of resources.
Our group includes the discipline areas of Dentistry, Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, Pharmacy and Public Health.
As a collaborative network, we work together on numerous interdisciplinary projects and activities for both staff and students of relevance to the Health Sciences with a focus on global health issues.
The GLP offers undergraduate students from U21 HSG member universities the unique opportunity to participate in a 4 week programme where they can learn and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and build ongoing, interactive relationships across the globe. Students are selected from a variety of health disciplines to work in collaboration with our partner university to serve communities in Nepal and exchange knowledge, ideas and research.
The 2019 U21 Health Sciences Group Annual Meeting will be hosted by the University of Glasgow on the 9-13th September 2019. Watch the introductory video from Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, Vice Principal and Regius Professor of Medicine.
