What are the Discipline Groups?
The Discipline Groups provide members across the U21 HSG network an opportunity for networking, sharing of information and resources relevant to their discipline area and, collaborating on joint projects.
As a reminder our Discipline Groups include the following:
Nursing & Midwifery (Chair: Professor Roinah Ngunyulu)
Medicine (Chair: Dr Paul O’Byrne, McMaster University)
Dentistry (Chair: TBC)
Pharmacy (Chair: Associate Professor Shane Scahill, University of Auckland)
Public Health (Chair: Martin Stafstrom, Lund University)
Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Chair: Lynn Smith, University of Johannesburg)
Biomedical Sciences (Chair: Professor Chris Tselepis, University of Birmingham)
The groups meet virtually via Zoom 3 or 4 times per year to progress projects and discuss themes relevant to their area, as well as meet face to face at the Annual Meeting. They also share information and continue discussions via the discipline group Teams Pages.
